Cast Ironwork

The casting of iron is a process in which liquefied material such as molten iron is poured into a cavity of a specially designed mould and allowed to harden, after the iron has solidified the work piece is removed from its mould to undergo various finishing treatments so it can be used as a final product. The moulds are formed in oil sand from wooden patterns  we have manufactured to produce decorative iron work.
